Experience
Fiona has worked in her own practice since 2011 where she feels each patient should be given plenty of time for individual treatment. She has over 25 years experience as a Chartered Physiotherapist using her skills to treat a large variety of conditions. Trained in the UK where she has worked as well as 4 years in Australia, in the hospital setting, private practice, sports injury clinic and occupational health.
Having worked in large hospitals to private practice clinic Fiona has gained a wealth of experiences in many areas of physiotherapy. She now specialises in musculo-skeletal conditions and has attended many courses to keep up with skills and professional development in the interest of her patients.
In 1996 she became a credentialed McKenzie therapist for spinal conditions.
In 2001 started using acupuncture for pain relief and in 2003 joined the AACP becoming an accredited member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists.
As well as working now in her own private practice she works at a private hospital rehabilitating inpatients after surgery ready for home.
She is married with two children.
